Photos of
Northeast Queens Jewish Community Council Member Organizations Marching in the 2007 Salute to Israel Parade, Sunday, May 6

Northeast Queens Vice Presidents Corinne Steel and Ethel Levine led a group of several hundred  marchers at the Salute to Israel Parade.  A recurring highlight: the participation of Jesse Perlstein, 102 years young, from Marathon Jewish Center and a long-time volunteer at the Samuel Field Y, who led our delegation.   Marchers from 11 northeast Queens congregations, the Samuel Field Y and Parker  Jewish Institute carried  the special theme banners (in addition to synagogue and organization banners). Photos that follow all courtesy of Joseph Levine, NEQJCC.
