The Israel Parade Committee of the Northeast Queens Jewish Community Council worked hard for months to organize participation by Northeast Queens synagogues and community agencies in the Sunday, June 1, 2008 Salute to Israel Day Parade.  These pictures, courtesy of NEQJCC photographer extraordinaire Joseph Levine, show a few examples of the committee about one month before the actual parade:
